New ways to track your money and finances

Everyone needs some system to keep track of their finances. Whether it’s your multiple bank accounts, your bills, your various mutual funds, or your assets, you need a system that lets you know exactly where you stand at any given point of time.

Lots of people still use pen and paper, and a large number of them use Money, or Quicken. I myself have been using Money for years together to keep track of my investments and bank account. However, new options have come up recently that allow you to put your data online.

Whoa…My ears are ringing from that scream! How can you put your sensitive data online you say? Well, for a start, some of these companies that offer these free services like Yodlee MoneyCenter power online bank services. And I say, what’s my piddly account matter compared to their customers? So if they’re willing to trust them, so am I. Besides, data security is in their blood. If there was even a hint of foul play, they would be out of business quicker than you can say ‘Data Fraud’.

So, I’m going to put this high up on my priority list. I don’t want to miss such a cool service if I can help it! Imagine, never having to worry about taking a backup again? Every time my hard disk acts up, my heart won’t skip a beat. I suggest you try it too!
